Janice Falls
Janice Falls has long had a particular interest in how our culture holds grief and loss, death and dying, and seeks to support people who are experiencing these challenging aspects of being alive. She works with your strengths and resilience in the present moment with compassion and mindful awareness, as we seek to live a consciously created life. |
She is most recently studying the medicine of poetry as a way to deepen the connection with self and others, allowing the words of a poem to speak for us and to us when sometimes we cannot find our own words. (janicefalls.wordpress.com)
She began her private practice in 1993, to which she has recently returned after working at Carleton University from 2000-2013 as a counsellor for students in Health Services. (www.janicefalls.com).
Janice is a registered member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and is certified with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association.
As a clinical associate of the Glebe Institute, her work with insured clients is supervised by Registered Counselling Psychologist Dr. David Paré, member #4073 with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.
