The Glebe Institute and associates are a community
of counsellors and family therapists in Ottawa who specialize
in constructive, collaborative and strength-based approaches
to counselling and therapy. We are committed to building collaborative
partnerships, fostering mutual respect and hopeful curiosity,
enhancing competence and connection, and advocating just relationships
and healthy communities. Our practice is inclusive and client-centred,
and sensitive to culture, gender and spirituality.
In addition to our training and supervision
services, we offer individual, couple, family and group therapy,
as well as therapy and mindfulness training, and workplace
consultation. This website offers a range of information about
our programs, resources for counsellors and therapists, as
well as links to sites associated with collaborative therapeutic
practice. We are always reinventing ourselves and so is this
site--so certain areas are, as they say, "under construction".
Don't be distressed if you find some missing information or
possibly even some misinformation. Contact us by e-mailing
