Francine Titley is both a lawyer and therapist by training. She has been working as a private consultant in mediation and coaching as well as delivering training in conflict management, harassment prevention and mediation in both official languages for over 20 years, in the private and public sectors. |
In search of new challenges, Ms. Titley obtained her M.Ed. degree in Educational Counselling at the University of Ottawa in 2006 and graduated from the year-long International Program in Narrative Therapy and Community Work in 2007 at the Dulwich Centre in Adelaide Australia, with Michael White, one of the pioneers of this approach and his team. She subsequently completed two year-long internship programs in Chicago with Jill Freedman and Gene Combs, both of whom are credited for introducing Narrative Therapy in the USA. She also did two year long internship programs in Chicago with Jill Freedman and Gene Combs, both of whom are credited for having introduced the Narrative approach to the USA.
Ms. Titley continues to expand her counselling knowledge and skills through various readings, trainings and practices, including Sand play tray therapy, meditation and neuroscience in order to better support her clients in their efforts to live more joyful and fulfilling lives. She invariably brings enthusiasm, compassion and creativity to all her endeavors.
Ms. Titley provides counselling services to insured clients under the supervision of registered Counselling Psychologist Dr. David Paré.
