Life can get difficult, and sometimes a little help from a licensed psychologist can make things better. At Kind Therapy Ottawa, I care about your well-being and provide you all the tools you need in order to seize the day and learn how to tackle even the most traumatic circumstances.
I have a diverse educational and career background, and had the good fortune to live in another country for a significant period of time (Venezuela). I provide therapy in both English and Spanish. I obtained my Masters Degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Ottawa. I am a Registered Psychotherapist and I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor and a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I am also supervised by Registered Psychologist David Paré, Ph.D. CPO #4073 therefore my services are covered by most extended Health Insurance plans.

I also hold a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Ottawa University and have fifteen years of experience working for the Canadian Naval reserves.

I have significant personal and professional experience with LGBTQQIP2SA community in all its diversity. Before opening my own private practice, I worked at Ottawa University where LGBTQQIP2SA folks made up a sizable portion of my clients. I also generated and run Ottawa University rainbow support group. I continue to educate myself about the diverse needs of the LGBTQQIP2SA communities. I recognize and affirm that there is no single experience or identity that defines these communities, my goal is to learn about YOU and help you understand your unique situation.
