Don is a Registered Psychotherapist who is available to meet with clients in Ottawa and the Perth/Smiths Falls area. He has over thirty years experience working with youth and families in Ottawa. Don provides confidential, client centered, strength based, collaborative services to the people he works with. He has a strong belief in life long learning, constantly seeking to improve his craft through training, supervision and staying current with the latest writing in the field.

Don utilizes Narrative, Response Based, and Brief and Solution Focused therapies in his work with people. He places the clients needs at the center of his work and feels there is more to be gained from highlighting people’s strengths then lingering over what is not working for them.
Don provide services to insured clients under the supervision of Registered Counselling Psychologist, Dr. David Paré. He can works with both youth and adults addressing various issues including:
-Drug/alcohol use
-Parenting
-Violence and abuse
-Youth at risk and young offenders
-Depression
-Anxiety
-Anger
Consulting
Don is available to meet with individuals, groups, and organizations to discuss their training and supervision needs. He offers training in Narrative Therapy and Reflecting Practice. He is willing to tailor training to the needs of the people interested in his services.
