Mélanie Rishwain
Mélanie propose une approche de soutien et de compassion. Elle est engagée à promouvoir le respect et une curiosité optimiste, à renforcer les compétences et les relations interpersonnelles des gens. Elle est attentive aux besoins des clients et à leurs expériences de vie antérieures. Elle croit que chaque individu dispose des ressources internes nécessaires pour résoudre ses problèmes. Sa pratique est influencée par les écoles de pensée expérientielles, humanistes, systémiques et collaboratives.
Depuis 2012, Mélanie a son cabinet privé de psychothérapie sur une propriété de 17 acres. Mélanie propose deux types de thérapies soit classiques dans un bureau où les clients ont le plaisir de regarder les chevaux depuis une grande fenêtre ou bien la psychothérapie assistée équine avec ses quatre chevaux dans un environnement calme et paisible.

Mélanie is a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She is also a member of the Canadian Counsellor and Psychotherapist Association and a certified Facilitated Equine Experiential Learning (FEEL) Facilitator.
Melanie works with adults and teenagers in a variety of mental health issues. Her approach is supportive and compassionate . She fosters mutual respect and hopeful curiosity, enhancing connection and strengthening skills. She is attentive to clients' needs and carefully considers their past experiences. She believes that each person has the inner resources they need to solve their problems and improve their situation. Her practice is influenced by Experiential, Humanistic, Systemic and Collaborative schools of thoughts.
Since 2012, Mélanie has had her private psychotherapy practice on her 17-acre property. While working with Mélanie, clients have the choice to be in contact with nature and animals and can choose from different psychotherapy approaches. She offers traditional talk therapy in an office where clients can enjoy watching the horses from a spacious window. Clients can also choose to do equine assisted psychotherapy with her horses in a peaceful environment.
