Pamela Storey Baker

Pamela Baker has a special interest in providing individual and family counseling to youth. For the past 10 years she has worked as a therapist in private practice providing counseling services to ‘youth in care’ of the Child Welfare System and their Foster families. Pamela holds an Honours degree in Psychology from Carleton University and a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Calgary specializing in Clinical, School and Community Psychology. Working collaboratively with people, Pamela’s practice is informed by post-modern, collaborative and feminist approaches. Exploring ways to integrate expressive arts, narrative therapy techniques, and social constructionist ideas to enrich therapeutic conversations continues to bring energy, and inspiration to her work. Pamela provides services in both the Perth area and in Ottawa. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Consultants, Counsellors, Psychometrists and Psychotherapists.
