The Heart of the Story:
An Introduction to Narrative Practice

April 19, 9:00 – 4:30, May 3 and May 31, 1:00 – 4:30 pm.

Narrative ideas and practices can greatly expand the
repertoire of choices for counsellors and therapists working
from a strength-based perspective. In addition to
building on “what works”, learn to consolidate
positive developments by connecting them with the unique ways
people make meaning of their identities and relationships.

Join us for a practical and accessible workshop facilitated by
a team of Glebe Institute trainers. Our teaching team will bring
extra energy to the training and provide the opportunity for
individual attention to each of the participants.

This one-day workshop is for practitioners with some familiarity with strength-based approaches and would like to enhance and expand their practices. It will be held at the Sandy Hill Community Centre on Thursday, April 19, 2007 from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm. There will be two optional follow-up afternoons on May 3 and May 31 for participants who want to put the skills to work and return for a refresher.
